I got the screw in however after everything is all tight, that screw hits the fairing right on the edge. I took the screw out and slid the mount plate in, if I put the spacer in the mount hits the fairing so the screw pushes it out another 1/4in. Did your screw end up behind the fairing or on...

Anyone have any trouble with the highway mount plate screw hitting the fairing on the right side 2008 any fix other than cutting the fairing. Bummer I leave on Wed. help
