Completely wore out the last rear tire with a sticky string in it. Just replaced that tire with a new PR2 and less than 150 miles on it and I got a flat :angry2: Once again riding on a plugged tire. I don't think I'd plug a front tire.

Personally after you get your three new locks you may find out that having two keys (one for the bike and one for the side bags) may not be a bad thing. I can't tell you how many times I've started my bike only to remember the item in my pocket needed to go into the side bag.

I have the same issue and I believe my problem is the short mileage to and from work (only 7 miles each way on side streets). At the first sign of slow crank I plug in my battery tender.

I also think it's cooler. When I close them my bike seems to run much hotter so when that heat comes off the motor it hits the legs more.

I had the very same problem with the only solutions being patch on the inside, use a inner tube or new tire. I had 5,000 miles on the tire so for the sake of safety I put on a new tire.

Here in Southern California my '08 runs at minimum 5 bars and up to 8 bars. Doesn't matter if it's 35 or 90.
