I took my truck in years ago for 'injector cleaning'. Funny thing however was that the machine they used had a long arm that grabbed my wallet and drained it completely before it said the injector cleaning job was completed!! Strange how that happened!!!

I have a like new 2005 top case available if interested. This case has the Yamaha upgrade base plate mod as well.

I had a some what similar problem when my Power Commander 3 was failing. If you have a PC installed you might try disconnecting it and configuring the bike cables like OEM and see if that helps. The PC folks confirmed that my unit had gone bad and replaced it. Anyway, good luck!

Iphone operates on a very different frequency which is much less suspectible to RF and emi noise. CB is in the 27 mhz band and more prone to niose from other electronics, alternator noise , etc etc.

Just wondering if any of you forum members that might use a CB radio for bike-bike communications have had to install any noise suppression devices to obtain satisfactory radio performance?

I'm not sure I'd want to be that isolated from outside sounds while riding. Might be kinda dangerous!
