Below is some good advice for correct starting procedures if your engine is flooded or just plain hard to start after sitting for extended periods of time. Apparently this is not an unusual problem. Knock on wood…I haven’t had any problems yet with my FJR after my long winter hibernation...

CCs don't mean a lot today....Interestingly, Suzuki’s concept Inline-6 1100cc (with todays tech they are using in the liter bikes)…I see no reason they can’t produce upwards of 200 HP to the crank. Very cool.

Markjenn is correct. Yamaha has publicly acknowledged they WILL fix any ticker inside or outside warranty at NO COST to the owner. Can’t remember which magazine…but I printed a copy and put it in with my warranty info if ever need be for me or the next owner.
