    Smithe68 & Gerry.GEG take a ride around Lk. Couer 'd Alene

It was a great ride, the weather wasn't horrible, especially compared to what it has been. Roads were in really good shape as well. Glad we could finally get out for a ride we have tried to do for about a month. A few more similar pics

Who still plans on going to Idaho Falls?

I was just there less then two weeks ago, really nice area. I found Jakers to be a really good place to eat, one of the best burgers I have ever had (100% ground sirloin) and happy hour is 2 for 1 drinks.

First "long" ride on my FJR

SacramentoMike, depending on how much time you have heading home, I would say riding the stretch from Lolo, MT along highway 12 over Lolo Pass and pretty much to Lewiston, ID is a must. Other than that, if you go further north to Missoula you could ride 200 west, it's some nice riding as well...

First "long" ride on my FJR

I will give a better update, with some road thoughts, when I am our of class. For now I will just say, WOW, I can't believe I went 6 years riding a cruiser and not an FJR!

First "long" ride on my FJR

Heading to Idaho Falls, ID tomorrow for a week of training. Had the option of driving, and I took it, especially with work paying $491 for gas for a 1020 mile round trip! I will be pocketing some cash there! Should be a good time, I am excited to get some real miles in.

Spotted a SIlver FJR with trunk parked in downtown Spokane today

True. Had a little issue just past mile 22 that involved me not being able to breath and paramedics. I was actually just ahead of my goal at that point too. I still managed to finish in 4 hours.

Spotted a SIlver FJR with trunk parked in downtown Spokane today

Can't remember the street, but it was only a block or two from River Front Park. Don't see any around here normally. Should have taken a picture to prove it happened.

    Painted the Wheels on 05

Reminds me of what Buell did with his bikes, which I really like a lot! Nice job.

    Average age of FJR owners

Got my first FJR a few weeks ago after a long list of various types of bikes since 1985, age 42.

This stuff needs to go into motorcycle gear, G-Form

No I don't have any affiliation, we were just talking about body armor, military applications, at work today and one of the guys brought up this stuff. https://g-form.com/

    Cortech's new Dryver luggage series

That's the smaller bag? Looks like it takes up a fair amount of real estate on the tank. I didn't order any bags yet, but I did order the mounting hardware and was thinking of using it to do my own bag. It was only $20 shipped.

    Look of short exhaust cans?

Pretty sure it was on the Trooper Mod thread.

Putting more "Sport" into the looks of an FJR

That is pretty sharp looking, nice work.

    PNW Spring Tech meet

So, I finally finished that project. Got some motivation last night, rechecked my placement, and drilled. What connector did you use to connect that? Thanks.
