    Speedbleeders for the Gen-II

I've always been a fan of the mighty vac pump. Hook it up to the bleeder screw, pull a vacuum and crack the bleeder. Sucks fluid through slowly while you maintain a vacuum and keep the res full. no muss, no fuss, no pedal/lever pumping. works on any vehicle. How many people change the fluid...

Rechargable 12v flashlight for the FJR

I think the point is that it'll always be charged. Stick that headlamp under your seat and in 2 years when you need it and the batteries are dead and all leaking you're SOL. I think the always charged light in the glovebox is a great idea....now find me a headlamp with a cigarette lighter...

    Great warning label

Reminds me of Ricky Bobby selling the windshield of nis nascar in Talladegha nights... "This sticker is dangerous and inconvenient, but I do love Fig Newtons"

    motion pro sync tool

Thanks for the help guys, After some reasearch, some beer and some time away from it, I found the instructions for refilling the fluid. I basically took it apart like I was doing that but gently blew all the fluid down into the bottom with the cal screws out. They seem fine now. What I've...

    motion pro sync tool

I finally got some time to get the tank up for the first time and I had big plans....changing the plugs (at 12K miles), replacing the smog crap with the plugged hoses for some space under the tank and finally syncing the throttle bodies. Got to syncing the throttle bodies. I recently bought a...

    1300AE Reliability?

Congrats, you're going to love the bike. I came from an 06 VStrom 1000. You'll be glad to know the FJR isn't even close to being so top heavy. The Vstrom 1000 was fast but my FJR is a rocket ship. The only issue I have found with the AE is you have to be patient on shifts. A normal shift...

    The Life of a Pirate

I had heard they were 80 yards behind the boat....not a very long shot but could have been tough depending on sea state...that little boat would have been rockin. As Sunday dragged on, the seas grew rougher, and Navy officers offered to tow the lifeboat behind the Bainbridge, telling the...

Will an off-duty sheriff ticket me if I ride with him?

This is probably your chance to get out of any ticket if you get pulled over while he is with you. As said, let him lead to get a feel for it. If he's blasting, you're good to go.

Has this ever happened on the forum?

Are people seriously fighting over an avatar with an animated gay man being tortured with cartoon supertramps?

    A different MP3

I love the comment this "Lady" (Yeah, Jack MUST be a girl) made: Jack Lifton This is not the prelude to the Volt it is in fact the ideal use of the Volt-type power train. I would be very concerned for my safety going even 30 miles an hour in an open "vehicle" such as this, and I sincerely...

need some AE help! YCCS disengage needs adjusted...

Are sure you didn't get the cable so tight that now it's idling higher? Maybe before you were just under 1K at idle and now at ~1100 it's not disengaging so easily...just a thought. that's just based on the fact the the freeplay is all you changed and the idle is the only thing that you could...

Awesome....inagine the engineering tolerences on that crankshaft. Now I'd like to see him make a 1/6th scale RC corvette to put it in.

    Is The 'AE'....

After riding my AE for a few months, I've realized it's great in some situations but horrible in others...there are times I'm just cruising along the gulf coast with a lot fo traffic and the AE is great but sometime I'm out in the middle of nowhere and I wanna RIP IT....I'd prefer a clutch in...

I'm just trying to figure out what type of cars Fiat Chrysler will make.... Maybe a really tiny convertible that breaks down all the time but has a hemi in it.

    K&Ns Directly on the intake?

I searched and all I can find is the airbox mod with the cutout sides. Is there room for ditching the airbox and using coned K&Ns on each intake? That was a common solution on my Yamaha Warrior and it opened up a lot of room under the tank (and let it breathe a lot better). Also, we used a...
