    Damn, I Love this bike

I'm not an engineer...or even close. Got some mechanical skill and a good eye for figuring things out (got that from my dad), but I gotta agree with you, the FJR in all it's splendor is indeed a mechanical marvel. Long live the FJR!!!! :)

    Damn, I Love this bike

Whew! Thanks guys, I was beginning to think that I was sick or something. Even turning wrenches on her is enjoyable. I've got a Salvation Army toy run tomorrow, I'm going, rain or shine, just for the fun of it. Love is a beautiful thing.

    Damn, I Love this bike

Hi guys and gals. It's raining gently in the Yakima Valley (not that that stops me from riding) so I decided to change my oil, filter and plugs today. Just hangin in the garage, some tunes playin on the stereo, just me , her and some tools. I don't even have to be ridin her to enjoy her. Just...

Day 3, First Commute to work

80!!!!!! Damn! Wish mine had that magnet. It seems to have one at 100!!! And sometimes higher, depends on where I am. Wish my ridin buddies could keep up. It's lonely out there, NOT!!!!!

Always a place for ya. And some great ridin. If it's a mild winter here I ride. No ice or snow, I'm on the bike.

    Had to lay her down....

It's very nice. However there's alot of development going on. New homes, wineries and even a Wal-mart. But it's not doing real well. I'm leaving Friday to visit my sister in Pt. Townsend, going over White Pass and then up 101 along Hoods Canal. Should be a great trip. Where did you live when you...

    Had to lay her down....

OK, I gotta say this is getting kind of amuzing. Man if only I'd have known in advance what I was gonna start.....maybe I should have stayed in the background. Nah! Thats no fun. This whole incident was predestined to happen... therefore it was totally my fault for not wearing my turbin that...

    Had to lay her down....

Geezer, thats it exactly, not sorry for my actions! Everyone rode off safe and sound. That's what's important to me. Believe me, I'm not w/o sin and sure as hell am not about to cast any stones. Thanks from another Geezer.

    Had to lay her down....

Man am I ever sorry that I used improper terminology. In my days of beginning to ride "layed her down meant we dropped it", anything beyond that was a total, the bike, you or both. Sorry for not keepin up with the new phrasing. I never got phonics. But it is damn nice to see another mature...

    Had to lay her down....

35 years and never laid it down...WOW!!!! Gotta say imho you're one very lucky individual. And I truly hope your luck holds up. I've been riding since I was 18. Since that time I've totalled 2 bikes and was lucky enough to survive. Both instances were rider error...no, rider cockyness. Either...
