Twas the night before Xmas - FJR Forum style

The only creature stirring was a cute little mouse Chewing up the ignition harness and the rest of the house.

    UPDATE: Saturday, January 3rd Ride

The Den Mother and I are in - weather permitting. The backup date of the 3rd should work as well. Any forecast beyond 48 hours is called a "guess".

    NorCal Int'l Bike Show

Another great time with great company. Like you MM2 I drool over the Ducati's. The "Streetfighter" was very impressive. Walt, Gary and I left at 3:30 as a flight of 3 via Stockton. Den Mother and I had a Christmas Party to attend. I can't believe I walked through that entire show without...

    NorCal Int'l Bike Show

Note to me: Maybe carpool with OM. Except I'll drive. There are no cliffs between here and San Mateo but there is a bridge . . . . . :o

    NorCal Int'l Bike Show

We could take over a Mel's Diner! That would be fun.

    Fun at Roseville Yamaha

Announcement!!! Zac called and informed me that my FJR won "Best in Show"! Zac said all the FJR's were considered "entries" but I was the only one there with a clean bike! So, a clean bike is a gay bike -- but also worth a $100.00 gift certificate! So, my FJR is 3 for 3 in...

    NorCal Int'l Bike Show

Good plan. If its raining it would also be a good carpool meet point. I say we meet at 0800 and spend an hour for breakfast somewhere on the way.

She finally arrived 7 days late

Awesome. Having raised two of my own to adulthood I can give one piece of advice: Appreciate those late nights (or long nights) rocking Emma when she can't sleep. You will look back later and appreciate how special that time was. Congrats on the new arrival. :clapping:

Your chance to represent the FJR

I will come! I am entering in the sportbike category! [Note: Sportbikes look rather lame when parked next to FJR's].

Good luck on your new adventure. A major change in direction once in awhile is a good thing. Kudos for taking the opportunity. Keep in touch!

    Happy Birthday

Dittos from here! It is a pity she has to celebrate her birthday while going through NASCAR withdrawals until February . . . . :D

    Chocoholics

Good thing Bluestreak rode home alone -- You do not want to follow him after he has eaten a "dog". Especially if he had chili and onions on it. Now I know the LD riders secret to staying awake all night -- eat so you can't sleep!! MM2 - Thanks for the great ride. We enjoyed riding...

How did you learn to ride?

It is amazing how vividly I recall that first "lesson". I started my kids off on go-karts. Interestingly, the one that always crashed through the back yard fence is the same one with dozens of dents in her car right now!

    Name the Doggie

Beautiful dog. I love German Shepards. I think of a dog as my "wingman". So what is "wingman" in german?
