"Day Long" seat. I'm 6'1" w/ 34" inseam, NOASSATALL. I did a 1500/24 IBA ride and NEVER even thought about my butt the whole time. It does have wings, so it's not made to hang off of, but you can ride all day long.
Depends on the tires too! I got into a curve too hot once, had the right peg folded almost all the way back, elbow about a foot off the ground and my knee pulled up under my armpit...and the '04 FJR pulled me out of it with Conti Road Attacks. I think they are good on dry pavement, not so good...
Just take your rusty old beat-up truck in to work, park beside him, centered between the line, and slam the shit out of his vett with your door. then file a greavence aganst him for damages to your truck.
Congratulations Al. BTW it's just Reaper (as in you reap what you sew) and I live in Mississippi. Glad you and Mike got it worked out and hope to ride with ya again sometime.
Well, guess I've about heard it all now. Just get on the road, run 50 miles or so out and turn around and come back and your good to go. Don't need sand paper, or scuffing them in or any of that. Heat them up, cook the preservative out and let'er rip.
"My concern is that we do not scare anyone away from participating in a motorcycle event because someone want to turn it into a charity event. "
That is a valid point, but I don’t think that was Mike’s intention. There is fund on all the forums that allows people that wish to, to donate funds...
I think that is a GREAT idea Mike. That way those that would like to put something in and can afford it = CAN and those that can't afford to or don't want to donate = don't have to, and nobody will know that Fred W didn't give anything.
