We rode Skyline Drive yesterday and it'll be at peak bloom for the next week or so, depending on where you are. PArts were like riding in a colorful tunnel. If you want to go, NOW is the time!

I've had a Montana since Spring on the Super Tenere and hate the thing almost as much as using my Gummint issued Blackberry. The Montana's upside has been that screen size and legibility are fantastic. The waterproofing is good. BUT I've suffered through the dreaded white screen of death...

Great find! We've got the same bike for Tim & the Tenere for me. Might as well order up new tires already. Tim got 4200 miles out of the Shinkos and that was mostly highway.

Fixed it.

Be VERY careful with the plug, where it goes into the base of the helmet clamp. I've broken two and I was trying to be gentle. My son says taht the wind catches the cord and it flaps behind my shoulder, which I've never felt, so my guess is the plastic fatigues to death.

Have the Pro extended barrel S&W M&P for IDPA and it does shoot sweet. But I actually trust my Kahr CW9 more. While single stack, it has less issues, plus it's smaller, thinner, and lighter than the compact M&P. The XD was the best comparo photo I saw online quick.

Walthers are cool, but just like BMW vs Yamaha... Kahrs are reliable and function.
