Hmm...meanders "through all 5 continents" yet it goes through 6 out of the 7 :) Still, I would LOVE to do that!!!!!

    New truck.

So....about that carrier...do you trust it with the FJR on it? I've been looking for something that will hold the FJR, but haven't been able to find any rated at over 500#, and with the FJR at nearly 700# at last weigh-in, long before reaching the current farkling state. What is it, and where...

    New truck.

The front hitch was the hardest part...the factory lights couldn't stay with the hitch, so I went with some PIAA...decided I really don't like them...wish I had something that put out a lot of light, these are more just fill-in for up close stuff. Also, I went with a spray-in liner. My earlier...

    New truck.

I have 2004 F350 diesel dually (Lariat, long-bed, crew-cab, FX4, DRW). The 2004 was the second year with that engine, and while the '03 did have some problems, they had a lot of them cleared up by the time they started building the '04's. Also, check the build-date. If it was built after...

    Riding Pants

Same here, I got the same pants and love them. As stated, though, they are very expensive. If you can really get those pants for $130, it sounds like found a great deal. Personally, I like have a main set as well as a backup set. I have an extra jacket for that reason. If these pants aren't...

So, How low Do yours go....

I'm agreeing with the MM2 and WFooShee; I wouldn't change the rear yet. The front would probably both me though. I don't feel the need to change both at the same time, my feeling is just do whatever needs doing. I put PR2's on front and back last time I changed 'em. Rear has about 4k on it...

    WynPro ( BIG-FOOT)

BlueFJRider-can you post a pic of what it looks like, when it doesn't fit? I guess I'm kinda wondering how close the kickstand is to contacting the pipe. If I'm picturing it correctly in my head (crayons and all), then you might be able to use this, if you had additional mounting screw holes...

    Something New on the Freeway

Saw it on 101S near Great America Pkwy, and also 880N after Milpitas. Of course, I almost got hit by a CBR that got on 880 at Calaveras Blvd...I guess he was exempt.

    Second-Look tank covers

I just drove by, on my way home from work. The business is still there, you can see a picture of it here.

    Duped!

Looks like you missed the thread on 90 degree valves and the correct windshield washer fluid level and fill location! Welcome! A test ride on a co-worker's 07 FJR is what convinced me I wanted the FJR over the other two contenders; it's a great bike! (07 or 08, but black is still faster, if...

    Dash shelf

Sounds like it to me, but look at all the @#$@% he's got running!

    Who do you hit on?

Always the 'view new posts' for me. There's just too much content on this forum for me to absorb much, and with some of what I do see here, I'm glad I don't absorb it.

    I'm PISSED !!

OMFG! A room of people now want to know what I just laughed out loud about. Thanks Mike.

    WynPro ( BIG-FOOT)

Page 17? ****! Dave-how can I order the full service manual for these things? I don't want to screw up the internal timing, or risk blowing a gasket on them. I didn't see any labels either, that said how much windshield washer fluid to install. I'm glad it's not Friday, or this would really...

"I Love My FJR" Key Fobs

If the bike's color is the fast one, black.

    WynPro ( BIG-FOOT)

Got mine in the mail yesterday. Can't wait to get it installed, but now it's starting to rain again, so no bike for a little while.

Now you can throw your mirrors away!

Left or right? (Ever seen the old British show Coupling? If so, then you know the answer is left.)

    Valve Stems

+1 on BikeEffects. Everyone should buy where they want, however I like supporting someone who helps support the forum, and supporting a small business as well.
