The front hitch was the hardest part...the factory lights couldn't stay with the hitch, so I went with some PIAA...decided I really don't like them...wish I had something that put out a lot of light, these are more just fill-in for up close stuff.
Also, I went with a spray-in liner. My earlier truck had a plastic insert...the spray ins are much more stable.

What other kind of stuff is he looking at? :) Farkling a truck is just...well...easier to get my wife to approve of :)
We were fortunate that the truck came with a newly applied spray liner which looks real sharp. Don't think we need a front hitch. I can see some PIAA lights in his future. He joked about a light bar for the top, and a gun rack! He's making a bracket for the towing hitch to accommodate the flag pole for when we camp.

Last night, he installed a metal bar across the bed, right behind the cab. It's bolted in and has notches for three bikes' front wheels, and tie downs for the bikes.

Alexi, it sure aint gonna be me driving that beast on a daily basis. When my Z3 went, I inherited his Jeep Cherokee for those days when I need four wheels. Andy wasn't real happy about me driving a little convertible on the crazy freeways around here. On the 363 dry days each year, we both commute on our bikes.

So....about that carrier...do you trust it with the FJR on it? I've been looking for something that will hold the FJR, but haven't been able to find any rated at over 500#, and with the FJR at nearly 700# at last weigh-in, long before reaching the current farkling state.

What is it, and where did you get it?

Good looking truck right there!!...... ;) but then..... I like big trucks.....
