I added a Givi E52 to my '08, it works great. Since it will hold two helmets, that means I can store 4 of them, with the saddle bags. (Yes, the saddlebags can hold a full-face helmet, each.) Good luck on the purchase! What are you selling? Or is it gone already?

This thread's a year old, but...I have a friend who'd like to sell a Suzuki GS500R...it was his starter bike. He loved it, and kept it well maintained. He's also never dropped it.

How about small bracket that goes onto the left slider mount-point? Taking the slider off to install and remove the plate doesn't sound too difficult, or even onerous. On re-reading the OP, I see that you don't have sliders installed...find, just install this bracket were they would go then.

Looks pretty nice! Also looks like you could add blinker lights and maybe even some lesser-importance gauges beind them!

Check your timezones...it is Friday in a bunch of the world. Not that I think the PNW is anywhere near there, though. It kinda sounds like a strange place, based on the stories they have.

I've been thinking/wondering about a bunch of this kind of stuff too. However, Mike-how do you keep this stuff from getting stolen? When you go on the road, do you just leave all that gear on the bike while you sleep? I presume you sleep off-bike, right? You don't mention a Texas Catheter...
