    Coolant system question

I ran my bike until the fans came on. I shut it off and let it sit over night. Removed radiator cap, added 50/50 mix to top. Put cap on, ran motor until fans came on, let bike sit overnight, added more mix, put cap on, ran until fans came one, let bike sit over night, added more mix. It took...

    Russel day long

If you can ride in for an adjustment, that is great, but if you have to box it up and pay to ship it, nine fittings can cost more than a new seat :dribble: . I bought a Russell through the group buy and I'm not sure about mine at this point. But I only have 50 miles on it. I'll get 500 on it...

Aerostich Roadcrafter - One Piece - Fitment Qestions

I had to have my stich custom made. The arms and legs were too long for my body. They are VERY good at getting the measurements that they need to get it right, Let them talk you through the process and have your suit made to fit your body. The "test" suit that they sent me put the knee pads...

    Cyclegadget iPod mounts

The Ipod Touch is NOT a hard drive. You can get them in 8, 16 and 32 GB. Not cheap, but they are great devices.

    Cyclegadget iPod mounts

I have a gen 1 Nano that has been on my bike for a few years now. No problems at all. I used to use an Ipod with a hard drive and it would lock up all the time. Flash memory works great and I just bought a ram mount for my new Ipod Touch. I'm sure it will work well.

    SE Ohio Spring "Ramble" 2008

Looks like a good call. I changed my room to the following weekend. Lets hope for dry warm weather. The Athens AmeriHost has rooms with 2 beds available as I had no problem changing my reservations from this weekend to the following weekend. Looking forward to a dry ride on the 26th

What time will you post the decision? I rode in the rain last weekend, really do not want to do it this weekend.

Signup For E. KY Ride April 11-14th

Just wanted to let everyone know that the wife and I made it home safe and sound. It was a bit cold on the ride home (34 degrees at times) but we had no snow and very little rain. All in all, a great weekend event.

Looks like we may make it in time for the 2:00 meeting. If we get there late, where will everyone be at say 3:00 or 4:00? If we don't run into any thunderstorms or snow on the way down. :angry2: Looking forward to a weekend away :yahoo:

    Simple line mixer

I'm no expert, but I'll bet that by the time you gather all the materials and put this together you will have enough invested to buy a ready made"mixer". I use an "Ampli-rider", set me back about $65.00 and it has 3 inputs and 1 output. Link to Ampli-Rider It even has a remote volume control so...

    Show and Tell at EOM

sounds like a great idea. So are you thinking about doing this inside on a few tables, or outside so people can see the controls and hook ups too? I'd kinda like to see how everyone mounted their controls on the bike.

Yikes! The latest weather report sure looks a bit on the cool side, as well as a bit wet. I'm hoping that changes as it gets closer to the weekend.

This brings up a good question. When (date and time) will the call be made as to if it is a "go" or pushed to the rain date? I have a hotel room for the regular date, but did not reserve on for the rain date. It just better not rain :yahoo:

WOW, looks great :clapping: What year is the bike and if you don't mind my asking, what did it cost to get the whole kitt & kaboodle?

    The last few farkles

two words--- Vanentine One The best radar detector there is, but it is not cheap. AS for helmet speakers, I would suggest that you forget them and go for some custom molded ear plugs with speakers in them (ear buds, if you will) I used to run helmet speakers and run my volume at 100% to...

    ZUMO 550 questions

The auto mount charges the Zumo when the Zumo is off but plugged in to the cigarette lighter as long as there is power on the lighter plug (some cigarette lighter s are hot all the time, others are only hot when the ignition is on). The motorcycle mount will only charge the Zumo when it is...

    heated jacket and heated gloves

I agree 100%. I had to send my Gerbings jacket liner back to Gerbings and have them rewire it so I could control my gloves with a different controller. :angry2: It works great. I just bought a new jacket made by Powerlet (I think it is made by Warm -N - Safe) and it has wiring that you can...

    heated jacket and heated gloves

Better check to see if your jacket is wired to allow the dual controller to control the gloves on a separate circuit. :dribble: Some are not wired that way and just because you have a dual controller, you will not be able to control the gloves separate from the jacket. :angry2:
