Years ago my 05 did this or something similar. I snugged up the battery cables and all was well again.

Had a rear tire on my bike a few years ago. The tire worked fine and I would not have a problem with using them again in the future. No worse than putting a car tire on your bike.

If you factor in deprecation on that KLR and how many time its been ridden it prolly works out to about $1000.00 a ride. Hmmmm cheaper to rent me thinks

And what of the KLR? Non running since 2008 Prolly sitting in some dark corner of a garage somewhere with turn signals hanging by there wires and two flat tires. And who knows how many different critters have set up house keeping in all its nooks and crannies.

According to weather channel the avg for Sonora, Ca. is 85 degrees. Perhaps you were looking at adifferent Sonora? Most of your riding will be done at higher elevations where the temps are much cooler.

They are always after our walnuts and oranges I've had good luck with traps and. I also shoot them when ever I see them

How is the air filter? Most likely winter gas. Me think.
