Crashed FJR & "God really loves me"

Other than being alive and well, which is good. The above is why you really are lucky. Your wife is a keeper. Best Wishes, John

    WFO-6 Check-in, please....

Glad to hear you made it back ok. 113 degrees splitting lanes through Vegas, splashing water on me while driving was certainly a new experience. It was nice to have you along both on the way up and way back. Hope to see you at other events. - John

I cannot say enough about the peeps

Ditto, Thanks for leading a great ride Robin. On a mechanical note, I think something was wrong with your bike. Sparks kept on flying out from the underside of your bike everytime you were cornering sharply. :good: I didn't see any other FJR sparking uncontrollably.

    software for computer

I don't use the Photoshop Elements. I use the full version which is bucks. But, I would stick with the industry standard, I am sure Photoshop Elements at $80-90, will do 99.9% of what you want to do and will probably be easier to use than the full version of Photoshop. Photoshop Elements 89.99...

Group rides to WFO from LA

Looks like it's 5:30am at the East Valley exit just south of the 10 FWY off the 605. That will be easier for me just to meet you all their. I will be there bright eyed and bushy tailed, before 5:30. Look forward to meeting new friends. What is the final tally for riders? Just curious...

Group rides to WFO from LA

Gave up on the bike communication stuff. Had a Starcom1 but sold it to TWN. I will be the one happily ignoring everyone, while blasting my iPod. See you early Wed Morn. John

    Bling H2O

Hey, don't mess with my Mobil 1. That's worse than Shinaede O'Conner (sp?) ripping up a picture of the Pope. Now you are crossing into dangerous territory. :butcher:

    Bling H2O

The craze has now hit the East coast, landing in Chappaqua, New York at Via Genova, an "eclectic cafe and water bar." Hey! I'm from Chappaqua. I didn't realize our small little hamlet had become a chic hot spot. WTF? Those damn Clintons, moved into town and F'd everything up.

    r1 and r6 Fiat bodykits

You may want to reconsider that FIAT bodywork. I hear it greatly reduces the reliability of an otherwise perfectly good bike. :P

The joy of forcing the use of technology

GunMD, That was a good one. Thanks for that one. How about helping your 78year old mom, over the phone. Me: Click on the (whatever) icon. Mom: What's an icon. Me: That is the little picture things you click on. You know like when you want to start a program. Mom: I don't have any pictures...

Front axel bolt and pinch bolts not tight!

I removed the front wheel tonight for the first time (9,000 miles). Time for a new front tire. The front axle bolt and pinch bolts felt only slightly tighter than finger tight. I read this in another post as well. For new owners it might be worthwhile to check these two items. I believe the two...

    WFO Room opening!

Glad to hear that you are basically OK. A good friend of mine wasn't so lucky last month, he won't be walking for about 4 months. Glad to hear you have good family to help out. Best Wishes

The Road to Creston, Part IV

Because like holding back a fart ...... Dang, where do you come up with such prolific prose, :fan_1: I wish I could write half that well, but as it turns out, all I can really do is fart.

    Lane Splitting at it finest...lol

Jdog, Just watched the video. Nice work. I understand how following Fairlaner might inspire you turn up the wick. It does the same to me. Maybe we should all chip in to buy Fairlaner a fork mounted CHP type cattle gaurd front end, so he can simply push the slower bikes out of the way :D ...

    No Film Guys....

Dang, I was really looking forward to seeing that blast along Lockwood Valley Road, as long as the Plates were grayed out to protect the "not so innocent". I look forword to seeing whatever you get. It sure does seem like a lot of work. Thanks to all for a great day. First time a day ride got...

    Ojai ride Sunday July 1st

Well I can't beat Rayban's San Diego Mileage. But my mileage showed about 640 miles. Not bad for a quick little morning get together. It was nice meeting all of you. It's great to have a face to the screen name. Now I feel that I can insult you to your face :D , rather than talk about you...

    Ojai ride Sunday July 1st

Richard and Gang, Dang that looks like a long ride for us LA gang. But what the heck. I would be up for it. As long as I haven't been permanently put on the B list. Richard has invited me a couple of times and scheduling has not worked. What time do you have to leave the South Bay/Long Beach...
