Hoghead, Yes you are correct. Preorder the rear seat (through sargent) and you can qualify for a $50 discount. The front is already out and the $50 discount no longer applies.

    Warped front wheel

Jeff, I am not an expert in this area, but here is an unqualified opinion from somebody with a ME degree. My first reaction was bending cast aluminum (that I assume is what the wheel is made of). No way! Cast aluminum is not very maliable. If you bend a lot of dirt bike levers like I have, you...

    Furber Fix for FJR?

When torqueing my steering stem nut (under the triple clamp) to the factory setting using the factory tool, the rubber washer totally deformed. I had to go way less than the recommended torque. So I don't now what the hell this rubber washer is doing there when it completely squishes out when...

    PC-III installed problems

Misc Ideas, just thinking out loud. I would hook up a laptop to make sure the correct map is installed. This is probably not the problem, but one thing to check. I believe the O2 sensor is black on the 06/07, not gray like the Gen I bikes. It is located on the right side of fuel rail if memory...

    Three FJR's on Angeles Crest

Sounds like a good ride. Glad everybody is safe. It sounds like a real weird day. Kind of spooky, when there is wreckage all around.

How do I wire a double pole double throw switch

Figured it out - Solution in next post :sorry: I am setting the lights up with 3 options 1) On when the high beams are activated (I have this working) 2) Always off. 3) Always on. (but can't seem to figure out how to wire the switch to include this option) The switch's backside has 7...

The bike likes to go left

What about the rotaing mass of the engine and drive train (more the shaft than engine) slowing down, this will have an effect on the bike wanting to turn. I guess to truly evaluate the straightness of the steering, it should be at steady speed. Which way would a decelerating shaft make the bike...

Switch And Wiring Options For Aux Lights?

Skyway, I plan on wiring my FF50's like you. I know people on this thread have suggested a SPDT, switch, But will a DPDT like the one below work? I already have one. See Part Number 02408 And does anybody know a good wiring diagram on the web to figure out what wires goes where, for a DPDT...

    Sargent Seat with Sargent backrest

The rear passenger seat is not out yet. With that said, you will save $50 if you go to their website and pre-register for the rear seat when it comes out. The front seat is currently available. I have the carbon fx fabric and it looks new like the day I got it. I haven't noticed boot marks...

    Oil light.... Oh no!

Let me make sure I have this correct. An 06 FJR does NOT have a oil PRESSURE warning light, just an oil level light?

    SURGEING

The PCIII fixes everything. It is a lean condition. The bike stock runs like crap off idle. I also noted that while setting up the PCIII the tach read about 100rpm too low, compared to the actual reading from the ECU. So setting the RPM's high on the tach will actually be about right.

    FJR on 101

Long Beach, I am a relative newbie here, just picked up a used 06 in late March, and drove back from Alabama with the wife. I asked her if she wanted to flying out to Alabama to pick up a bike and drive it back. Response "Can we go next week?" Now that was the right answer. I think she is a...
