Totally agree on the Audiovox CC. There are couple tutorials available, on this forum, with pictures that can walk you through the install.

The side case fits fine, in fact it's easier to install with the reservior totally out of the way. I was afraid I was going to damage the hose end with my foot, and like I said I like to rest my heel on the passenger peg support. With this mod the reservior is out of the way of everything.

Remember to use distilled water with the coolant, not tap water. Tap water can cuase corosion.

I second the throttle spring return and G2 throttle tube idea. Frame sliders are an absolute must! You will love the FJR, welcome to the forum.

I have to agree that my shock change gave a very favorable improvement, albiet I went with the Penske, and I'm sure both are very good products. I would also recommend getting the fork upgrade from GP, also a huge improvement!

IMO the FJR truly comes to full smoothness after at least 3000 to 5000 miles. With only 300 to 400 miles, it's still a little rough around the edges. Again, my opinion.

My Zumo has had zero problems total, and I went through a torrent going to NAFO last year. Again no problems. I usually take it off when I wash the bike or put a shower cap over it, that hotels provide if left on. Seems pointless to get it purposely wet. IMO?
