Thanks guys. It's been a long trip getting to where she is now. As for better, well, everyone would view that a little different I'm sure. For my stable she fits the bill as a fun ride without having to worry about all the weight and girth of the FJR.

I've done Going To The Sun Highway from both directions on different occasions on the FJR. Last time I was there, there was a ton of road construction. Even with the construction, I think I'd rather be heading up hill rather than down hill. You use your brakes a lot less going up :P Regardless...

Hell, just take the bike back and tell THEM to fix it! Then do all your future work yourself B)

There shouldn't be a difference between standard grips and heated grips. I'd wager your grips are dragging on the housing a bit. If thats the case, you might be able to just pull it back a bit and have normal throttle return again.

Anyone have a stock master cylinder and lever hanging around? One of the rigs going to the bone yard maybe? I'm thinking I could use it on the XS to try and achieve a little more front brake feel. The stock master cylinder on the XS is lacking big time. That and I think the adjustable levers on...
