Spent a week there recently in the Guanacaste region (NW CR); lots and lots of local bikes around. The pavement was ok but the many many dirt roads to the "sights" in the mountains were difficult in a van, though it's a whole different perspective on a bike. The worse roads were the paved roads...

Actually for all you furriners, New Brunswick is the only official bilingual province in Canada; they all speak English and Acadian fluently, usually in the same sentence! And er... Acadian is a higher form of French. Remember when you all thought MEM spoke in tongues after a few nips....? Well...

I think there have been a few of us. I had a sudden failure this spring in Ashville. The nice dealer put in an ATV switch as a temp measure. I'll look at taking the broken one apart this winter.
