Hi Jeff, I have to clear up some info with HOG, after we hear back from MEM about a possible Duc for you. The HOG website says 21 minimum age for rentals, I have to see if that also includes the passenger, Seth is only 14.
The Request has gone out. I'll hear back SOON - if it's dignified with a response :p

Another thought, contact Gypsy. He never rides his...

Canadian FJR
I'll have you know Gypsy has his room booked. Now to get Registration opened ..... (the Webmaster and I have been bizzy)

Hey ! Rome wasn't built in a day
MEM, Rome wasn't built in a day because Caesar didn't pick either Old Michael or Papa Chuy to be the Foreman on that particular project; Caesar picked johnny80s instead! jes' sayin'

...I just reserved a room at the Silverwood. They have an online reservation form that is very easy to use.
Hmmm... Easy to use but not much in the way of instant gratification. Wait up to 12 hrs for confirmation?

I trust that they are declining any request without the uber-secret, super-duper, only for registered riders, booking code, eh?

...
Sorry all, MEM wasn't just blowing smoke when she said this. Moving 2 households next weekend, kid's BD next weekend (and she wants a big party,) putting my dog down in a couple of days and still trying to fit some 'action' in my life!

It ain't pretty but registration is almost there!... MEM to the Red Courtesy Phone please!

PLEASE NOTE: Ms. Kelly of the Silverwood Motel let me know she'd like to have the reserved rooms confirmed with a credit card number at least 30 days in advance!!

Thanks Everbody, Seth and I are registered and paid up, right behind Greg. Jeff-FJRGuy: Ignore my note accompanying my registration, I was able to use Secure Payment by PayPal, billing directly to my VISA card.

NOTE: Not to be bothersome and if it is a hassle forget about it! But, is there any chance that a few of the shirts can be made in Triple Extra Lard - XXXL? I would gladly pay extra for an XXXL CFR 2011 shirt to cover my beer vault!

I would think that there are enough ex hockey goalies such as FJRob1300 and Yamafitter, and an ex college football center such as Papa Chuy, that would warrant perhaps a half dozen XXXL CFR 2011 shirts. RaYzerman19 is getting "close" also!

Papa Chuy, I'm sticking to an XL.... but at least we both know why I call you El Grande Amigo!!

I'm the first one of the 8 reservations and am all signed up.

Is it June yet?

You guys RAWK!

Geezer was first to register. Hey, Geezer! Is Pole Paul coming with you ? :D

FYI - rally 'shirt' this year will be a wind/water resistant lightweight vest with embroidered logo; details to follow. Until I get sizes posted on the Rally site, here are the largest sizes:

Mens (inches)

XL XXL 3X 4X

Chest 46-49 49-52 52-55 55-58

Waist 38-41 41-44 44-47 47-50

Do any of these work ??

ps - I just previewed this message and the format is awful. If you want sizes now and can't make sense of this 'chart', email me at maryellen.mckATunb.ca

Yep, Pole is planning to come. I sent him the link to register. You got him interested after you talked it up at the Whites and Greens last year. .....or maybe it was the table dancing.... :p

There are smaller sizes right? Not all FJR riders are that portly. :)
YES!

Men's AND women's. The women's vests are more fitted and are $3 more in price. Details to follow on website in next few days. Along with a size chart. That said, if the woman isn't that concerned about shape of the vest, the men's small sizes would be fine.

Kevin - I'm sending you an email with the size chart

Canucklehead and the fearless pillion are in, money PayPal'd to FJRGuy and room request sent to Silverwood. Now to start planning the ride...

So far it looks like this:

Calgary to New Orleans, New Orleans to Nashville (via Natchez Trace) to Smoky Mtns, BRP to Washington DC (gotta see the Smithsonian), to New England through Maine to St John, ferry to Digby, Annapolis Valley to Liverpool, then Halifax, then out the Cabot trail, back to Pictou, ferry to PEI, over to Cavendish, then to Freddy Beach... then Gaspé to Quebec City and to the inlaws near Montreal, then back to Calgary by a route TBD...

This is gonna be a good one... :yahoo:
