Good info in this thread. I just went down to Ace and got some nice chrome steel spacers, 1/4" ID x 3/8" tall, plus a couple of stainless hex drive screws all for 6 bucks and change. Easy install. Can't wait to try it out tomorrow.
I think this really depends on the dimensions of your individual butt. I can ride all day on the stock seat. But after 3 or 4 hundred miles I do feel it in the wrist a bit... need a throttle lock.
