    FJR extremely unstable !!!

Isn't there a forum rule about dredging up posts more than a year old? If not, I hearby propose it....

    Had to lay her down....

Dropped his bike during low speed maneuver. Lots of guys have done it, usually in the noob rider/new owner phase.

    Should I install a Power Commander 3

PCIII works. No doubt about it. Buy it, install it, and you will fix a major rideability issue on your bike.

My Fire Captain was Killed on his Motorcycle last Night

Negligent cagers that kill riders need to go to prison just like negligent people that kill pedestrians or other cagers. There was another thread on this subject recently where people on this board were falling all over themselves rationalizing the lack of legal repercussions. It's ********. We...

Maybe I'll Just Hang on to My Gen I

The differences between gen I and II are not worth the cash outlay to trade up. Especially if your bike is farkled.

    windshield spacers or tuning block

Good info in this thread. I just went down to Ace and got some nice chrome steel spacers, 1/4" ID x 3/8" tall, plus a couple of stainless hex drive screws all for 6 bucks and change. Easy install. Can't wait to try it out tomorrow.

    Tourer

I think this really depends on the dimensions of your individual butt. I can ride all day on the stock seat. But after 3 or 4 hundred miles I do feel it in the wrist a bit... need a throttle lock.

    Tragic, non FJR accident

Makes sense. Maybe that's why you see so many of the news reports stating no charges filed, since the news reports are generally immediately after the incident.

    Tragic, non FJR accident

Not if people open their F-ing eyes. And one way to encourage that is if they know they'll pay for not doing so. If they're at fault in an accident, make them pay. That's all I'm saying. The "where does it stop" argument is spurious.

I never suspected anything was going on...

Agreed you've been had. Ol' Mr. Davidson couldn't get it up in his prime, let alone in his current sad state.

    Tragic, non FJR accident

As we all know people just aren't trained to "see" motorcycles. If this is ever going to change it will require stiff penalties. Pedestrians are protected by stiff laws and that's why we all keep a sharp eye out for them. If you hit one it's almost always going to be your fault no matter the...

    Victory Vision ride

Exactly. FJR styling is just fine without any "wings"

    Tragic, non FJR accident

WTF?... Why is it that when these cagers kill and maim riders there's no charges?

    Glitch after oil change

    Spectro is MC oil.

This is a good reminder. Thanks for bringing it up.

    WOW!!!!

Welcome Geezer! One of my favorite rides is hwy 410 over chinook and then into Wenas Rd and up Canyon Rd to E-burg... right in your neck of the woods. Give those roads a try if you haven't already. Jet
