    I hope you have a set of synchronizers for that bike. After reading several articles about pair removal several have said it does alter the sync and should be done after the removal of said system.

    I agree on the formation ride its un-nerving at best and not my cup of tea. I will go next year I'm sure but IMHO most formation rides with mixed skill riders (me included) is like a game of russian roulette at best.
