    Not a problem for me. the mounting is absolutely rigid to the frame of the bike. would it make you nervous?? if so, please explain

    Don, yep hoping for some long runs this summer and fall if all goes well in future, glad i got the wee but still like the strength of FJR on very long runs. sure plan/hope to make 2009 WFO.

    drilled holes in Givi interface rack and used stainless steel large diameter hose clamps. No movement noted.

    Beeroux, why don't you put on another SS1k, "17 Laps of Hell-We were Stupid First" rally to get a TRUE EVALUATION of competent riders?? For those unknowing, the rally was ridden by 15 competent riders totally inside the citylimits of Los Angeles CA in a 24 hour period. :butcher:

    Finally gone

    I love my two 1980 Yamaha XS 1100G motorbikes. One I bought new in 1980 and the second, I bought 5 years ago(It had on of the orginal vintage Russell saddles on it.). both are still running but not often. great vintage bikes.
