Thats interesting you mention braking. I never engine brake. Don't know if that has something to do with it. I will mention the handling sucks with these tires and that many miles. You can definitely feel a difference. I'm still up in the air about whether to get PR3's or 2's?

I'm at 17,438 miles on a set of PR2 and still going. Hoping to replace in a month or so prior to a trip.

I do as well. I haven't found anything that goes on and off as easy. Works great on the windshield too. Cheap too.

I was in Destin last week as well on vacation, and saw most of these planes while on the beach.

Good Information. I have about 14K on PR2's installed on July 2010. I was curious which to get, but now I think I'll go with PR3's. I still have some mileage left on the PR2's, and getting almost 15K on a set I had serious thoughts about not getting another set.

You might consider going up the West side of Michigan, up the U.P. and around, instead of going through Chicago. That looks like a great trip. I can see why Vancouver, it appears to be a great place.
