Plug 'n' Play Harness For Aftermarket Horns

I make them up as needed. Currently the relays are backordered, but it's possible they might ship today or Monday. Just let me know whenever you're ready. WFO? Naaah....looks like I'm "SOL". ;)

    Louder Horns

Thank Christ for that. My brain was starting to swell. If we had a nickle for every time someone pondered the "relay-no relay" issue.

    Lemon Law

Wow, all this fuss for a bike that's sitting in a dealer for only 2 weeks in the SUMMER? Only the BUSIEST time of year? Go figure. Hey it's not like they have any OTHER bikes to work on before yours, right? I think you should count your blessings if you get it back before 2...

    Fork Tube Protectors

That's just a carbon fiber vinyl decal, cut to fit the lower fork. Any custom graphics place would probably sell you enough to do the job. I got the stuff I use on eBay.

Pazzo Levers - Best Price / Source

Sometimes paying a little more costs you a LOT less in the long run. Let's hope that won't be your case.

Send it to me. I'll fix it for you. ;)

    BlueSea – Installation question(s)

The problem doing it this way is that it leaves you with only one switched (and fused) outlet. All the rest are constant. It seems like some would rather have it ALL switched, and some would rather have it ALL constant. Simple to make a harness for one or the other, but not both and have enough...

Has your 1st gen FJR been repaired for "The Tick"??

Mine was done in March with 23k on it. Been ticking since 8k. '03 model. I haven't gotten a chance to put any real miles on it since, but with 1100 miles on the repair it seems quiet.

    BlueSea – Installation question(s)

Wire size from the battery to the fuse block? DEFINITELY 10 gauge. Overkill will work to your favor when you start filling up those blank spots on the block. ;) Go to your local car stereo shop and ask to buy a Bosch "mini giant" relay. It's a 30 amp SPDT relay. Should cost you around $5.00...

Plug 'n' Play Harness For Aftermarket Horns

First of all, how many of these horns, both Blasters and Nautilus have YOU installed? I'm speaking from experience when I say the only SAFE .....again read SAFE way is to split the two pieces to allow as much room for the forks to function without hitting the horns. I've had '03, '05, '06 and...

Plug 'n' Play Harness For Aftermarket Horns

There's just no room anywhere else. '03-'05 WITHOUT ABS had a spot on the right side just above the footpeg. I believe this is where the airbox is. ABS models used up that precious space. After installing a few compact Nautilus's on '06/up models, I found the only way to do it properly is to...

    CB Squeal!!!

Good choice on the radio, Greg. The H/L stich is for high or low power. That's why the squeal is less on "L". As far as the above comments on using an outboard antenna, I believe the problem IS in the Starcom cable. Especially if the problem is mostly gone with an antenna mounted in the rear...

    CB Squeal!!!

O-V, I've never seen a CB radio that could transmit in duplex mode for the simple fact of the squealing problem. This is why the PTT switch (or onboard VOX) is supposed to cut out the speaker when transmitting, and cut out the mic when receiving. I know a CB can be modified to do this (called...

    CB Squeal!!!

You didn't say what model CB you're using. Could be a number of things going on, but it sounds to me like a wiring mismatch. From the info you already posted about the CB being battery powered and still doing it, an RF choke will do nothing to fix it. Look at the Starcom wiring and MAKE SURE...

    In floor motorcycle lift

Not the greatest idea for THAT type of lift. With my luck, my foot would slip into the pit while standing close to the lift, and I'd break my ankle. They make a lift that's designed to be sunk into the floor. It looks like the old car lift, with the big steel tube in the middle...

    Carbtune Pro 4

Good choice! I believe this is the box I got from Sears. If you didn't spring for the overpriced carrying case, check this one out. Sears item #00965117000 $6.99 The Carbtune and hoses/tubes JUST fit.

    Carbtune Pro 4

Morgan Carbtune. And don't waste your money on that crappy soft case. Craftsman makes a hard plastic toolbox for under truck seats that fits perfectly. I think I paid $5.99 on sale for mine.

    The REAL man horns

Sure! That is if you're looking to make the bike hop and dance in one spot. But first you'd have to paint it some ghetto flake color, then put 12" gold rims on it.

    Ignition switch failures!

Most '06-'07 failures are due to a tight harness. Previous years' switches themselves were the part that failed. I know. It happened to me. Now I carry a spare switch assy I found on eBay.
