Stebel Nautilus on FJR Gen I

And then there's this. Still trying to figure out how to mount one on the bike.

    GoPro eat your heart out!

Not many people get to see that view of Rossi that close up when he's on a track bike. Was interesting to watch him work though and note how little the bike bobbled once he picked a line.

They Almost Got Me This Time

For some reason I actually believe that. :P Good job avoiding the sandman SM !

When's the last time you rode on the back?

My rep was shot in the butt as soon as I joined FJRForum with all you backscratchers. The fact that I'm at the other end of the same state as Bust barely counts as a crosswind all things considered ! :D

My Wife is down but not out

So glad to hear things are looking up Boomer. You and your wife are awesome !

When's the last time you rode on the back?

In the late sixty's before either of us had drivers licenses, a I'd ride pillion on a friends Harley Rapido. He'd hop off in a bank parking lot behind the house his girlfriend baby sat at (next door to her own house and very protective father and big brothers) and the bike was mine for the...

My trip to the Upper Peninsula

Nice report Chris. Thats the wife's old stomping ground, lots of family there in Munising and Paradise. The Dogpatch restaurant in Munising usually has pretty good eats, especially if your a fish person like Cthulu ! Thanks for sharing the ride !

Maybe Two-Strokes Won't Die After All

The dual ignition switch is an actual switch for changing between 2 ignition maps. KTM has the same thing on some models. Husaberg and KTM have a symbiotic relationship, sharing many parts and technologies. I'd love to see 2 strokes meet emission regs, the rebuild cost of a KTM 4 stroke single...

    Curing Ophidiophobia

When we were kids we used to pull them up on a hot day, see who could get the biggest tar ball. Seeing as I've been off the job for 50 some years you'll just have to slow up a bit. ;)

My wife's contemplating becoming a rider!

Pretty good beginner bike and hard to lose much, if any money on resale when she's ready to move up. Wish I could get mine interested. I have to bribe her with dinner at Red Lobster before she'll get on with any kind of enthusiasm.

    What was your best de-farkle?

The front and rear side reflectors Uncle Sam made Yamaha farkle on. ;)

    Allstates Repulsive Ad Campaign

Their latest ad seems to have gotten the message many were complaining about. Some of the more spectacular crashes were implying a very badly hurt rider. The newer one now shows a cruiser grinding down its floor board in slow mo before finally working its way up to the bars. Caption states...

    Heading to montana!

Sounds like a great trip ! Watch out for pigmy ponies in that area. B)

For those who suspected Rossi of not being human...

"Great fun." I would be so puckered riding at half his pace. :o Some people are just so amazing it makes me wonder what it's like to be them.

    Those damn scooters

Have to agree with Bramfrank, good time for the 'talk' . Who knows who will hop on one next and peer pressure will kick in ? Seeing this now, I've decided to get off the smaller bikes if those with me won't wear the minimum equipment -by my estimate, not theirs. I don't need the guilt trip...

    Blue Angels Baby!

Very nice presentation ! Felt like I was watching the Discovery Channel and thinking you could do this for a living. Good job Chris !

    Even victims have to learn

Too close is also my guess. I try to keep enough space that even were someone to lock them up in front of me.. And yes, people need to be held accountable. It was a ******* move on the drivers side, likely due to lack of situational awareness. My guess - she would have done the same thing even...
