Had my FJR for a month now and 4500 miles on the ODO, I also find that the bike is getting smoother. I am still working on smoother shifting, seems like it to change gears at 4-5000rmp. The Honda did not break in fully till 10,000 miles, I expect the same for the feejer. It is a fantastic...

There is a Daytona Bike Week in Jan/Feb?? :blink: . Yes there are some secluded twisties in FL, right down the road is Ozello trail. The prob with Ozello is that there are too many cars that go 20 mph down the road :angry2: and it is a 2 laner going to the beach/boat dock.

I am sure they go 10 mph under speed limit so the leather vests don't get bug spatters. With that kind of speed one can only do 100 miles per day max B) .

+1 on pauls post. New laws don't solve problems they take away rights. The police can put up a road block down and get the reckles drivers with the existing laws.

Some one had posted on a KLR that the MC uses that can run on diesel . So it seems like the tech. is out but it is not being marketed. The video implied that it had a great mpg too.
