    James Burleigh

Whoa! Been away for the holiday and sure hated coming back to that thread title. Glad you're home and on the mend, JB. Please take mighty fine care of yourself for awhile. We'll be sending all the good juju we can muster. At least you're on the right board. A quick search shows people around...

    shinya kimura

+1. And I like the looks of his designs about a zillion times better than any "me too" chopper I've seen. Thanks for the link!

    Got yourself in a pickle?

Yeah, I love that old Arlo Guthrie stuff. Classic, indeed. And it explains why my front fender looks like this:

    WynPro Teaser

Yeah, that's a good looking piece. Nice job, Dave. Fortunately for me, I don't have an AVCC, so I can keep my card in my wallet. Whew! ;)

    WynPro Teaser

Well, crud. I still can't tell what it is. You're a mean man. Anyway, if it's the same quality as the kickstand pad, you have my attention.

    Steering head bolt size

+1. Full disclosure, though: I bought the axle socket at Pep Boys.

    Givi rack and seat removal

I think we have a winner. That does look like the Corbin. If that's the case, I'm no help because I've never played with one. My solution would be to get a different saddle.

    Givi rack and seat removal

The Givi rack on my 03 doesn't interfere at all with the seat, and since that should be the same on the 04, I'm having a hard time picturing what the problem is. I'm suspecting it's an installation problem. Is it an actual Givi rack or a homemade one? Would you mind posting a pic so we can see...

The Continuing Saga of "Trauma Tyler" ;)

There was a link to that on sport-touring.net. Great stuff. You keep going. You've been an inspiration to more people than you know.

    Scala Rider

As I mentioned above, my original Scala Rider has been on my helmet (two different ones, actually) for 4 or 5 years. It never comes off. It's been through thousands of miles of rainstorms. Got a note from newenough yesterday that they've now purchased the remaining Q2 inventory from their...

    Bill Mayer seat?

If I didn't already have a custom seat (mine's a Rick Mayer), I'd find that darn attractive. I had a Bill Mayer on my Connie and it was :thumbsupsmiley:

Anybody try these out yet FZ1 Mirrors

I just stayed patient and waited for a used OEM set to show up on eBay. Or you could try one of the places that searches salvage yard databases like https://www.mrcycleparts.com/ (Not an endorsement, by the way. I've never used these guys, but I keep it bookmarked just in case.)

    Scala Rider

Cool. I guess to be specific, I should note that the original Scala Rider rings through the speaker, it's just too quiet to hear through earplugs and the volume control doesn't affect the ringtone. But as gripes go, that's on the weenie side.

    Reverse Trike

I'd just call it awesome.

    Scala Rider

I won't be able to tell you until spring. I just picked up a Scala Q2 teamset, but I'll be getting it for Christmas. ;) I have the original Scala Rider (no intercom), and I've been very pleased with it. It's worked great for what it was designed for (mostly phone use and gps input). It's...

    2010 Malaysian MotoGP

Awesomeness. :thumbsupsmileyanim: What a great race at a cool circuit to go see. I think I might put that on my bucket list. Thanks for sharing the pics.

    New Kawasaki SPORT-tourer?

I also think that Ninja 1000 looks awesome. Add one more bike to my lust list. God, I hate chain maintenance, though.

    Far rider

Congrats on the ride! How long have you had them on that side of the pond? The first U.S. model year was 2003.
