Wow, that's weird!
Has this bike had all it's recalls done, especially the throttle position sensor recall?
Does it have a Power commander?
Don't sound like a tranny thing to me, more an electronics thing.
Yo Funkay, I gotz noth'in to ad but from what I've read the '06s and '07s had the herky-jerkyest throttle of all years.
Glad ta see yer roll'in up sum miles on that thing. ;)
What's the buzz? My two FJRs have bean the smoothest bikes I dun ever owned. And I'm a sensitive little ***** when it comes to vibration!
Thaz my queue!
Really? I got stiffer springs, 'n Soupys raising links, 'n I'm still scrape'in the peg feelers!
Yes, it's the width mor than the height. I'm assuming you already have the seat in the lower positron? A vertically challenged friend told me he removed the rubber grommets from the seat, lowered it...
Mine always stinks after ride'in in the rain, even after installing a fenda extenda. If ya ride through pine needles, it's smell like burn'in pine needles; purdie cool actually.
If'n the tech said it's OK, it's prolly OK. Dunno why hew said they run hot, that don't sound right?
Thanks Ross
Yer welcome. What Metzler, how many miles, why not another Metzler?
Also, I like get'in mah tires from American Motorcycle Tire; they usually come in a couples days, (Here to the ************* state.) 'n have the best prices for these Bridgestones...
Assuming yer replacement is another T30EVO, don't forget yer reward. https://itagroup.hs.llnwd.net/o40/B45B2/MOTOUS1703/Bridgestone_Summer%20Motorcycle%20Claim%20Form_US.pdf
Interesting
Another option would be to take 36 to 89, stay on 89 down to Truckee, then 80 to Auburn 'n spend the night there? (Unless you already have reservations at Williams?)
Think it's 'bout 6 one way, half dozen the other. 32s nice, if'n you never dun it, I'd recommend it. Butt, you'll have to ride through Chico, 'n deal w/ sum traffic. If'n ya do 70, you can avoid the traffic. If'n you do 70, try this...
On mah way up to our Mountain compound yesterday, wuz go'in up (Lower) HWY 70; from 191 to Pentz was repaved. Hopefully they're gonna continue up though Yankee Hill, 'n over that good section. ;)
