A New Mexico state police officer has been fired after security cameras caught him having sex with a woman on the hood of a car.

Ask and you shall receive. Clicky I'm wondering if the dog is waiting for his turn. Check out his view in the second pic. I love it!! Joe

O2 Sensors, "metric" bikes, California Models

I would definitely like to hear what you have to say about this. I'm as certain as I can be that Sensor Ground, Engine Ground, and Chassis Ground would all be at the same level on our bikes. I'm always ready to learn something new though, and it happens all the time. Joe

    Russel Day Long

I just went back there to check, and you're right. I was approved. I didn't get an email response, like it stated I would during the sign-up process....but the important thing is that it works now. Joe

O2 Sensors, "metric" bikes, California Models

Hi Ross, From looking at my Service Manual for my 2008 FJR, the white wire is a ground for the signal side of the O2 Sensor (as opposed to the heater side). It shares that ground with a bunch of other sensors as well, and is grounded inside the computer. Shorting the white wire on the O2...

    Russel Day Long

I attempted to join a few days ago. I must have gotten the secret handshake wrong. I never got verified. ;) Joe

Ok I'll start... anyone riding for the long weekend

We were planning a ride from Syracuse area down through the Catskills for a culinary tour of the Hudson Valley. Unfortunately the flooding between here and there has washed out a bunch of roads and bridges, so I think it will be a while before he head down that way again. We are probably...

    Shorted Oxygen Sensor

    Glad it's fixed...regardless of why!

    Shorted Oxygen Sensor

It could give you problems if you shorted the signal wire to ground. The computer would add fuel in order to correct a lean condition (low voltage), but the engine wouldn't need all the extra fuel. The problem is that the white wire should be a ground, so it wouldn't make a difference if it...

    What would you do?

Id offer him some strong advice, but I don't think it's my place to tell any other person what to do. Not everyone needs you, or the government, or anyone else, making decisions about their safety. I understand exactly why you did it, it's just not my way. Joe

    Continued TPS Failures

I can confirm that the TPS signal wire DOES go through the PCIII on a 2nd Gen Bike. I don't believe it modifies it or anything, but it goes in/out of the unit. Joe

WynPro, Ram-Bone Mount, I've got BALLS

    Got it! Thanks Fred!! Joe

WynPro, Ram-Bone Mount, I've got BALLS

I have a Garmin Numi. The supplied crfadle has a smaller ball size than the RAM mount, and I haven't been able to source a RAM arm that has 2 different ball sizes. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious. Do I need to buy another GPS cradle that has a 1" ball on it, along with the correct RAM...

    Members Pets

I've never been one for bonding with pets, so I prefer something that doesn't need that kind of attention. I've had Erica for 22+ years now. She's docile, and easy to handle, unlike the one I had previous to her. THAT one was a handful! Joe

Power Commander PC-3 & Remus Exhaust setup

Cool. I sure wish there was a scan tool we could connect to our bikes to see the fuel trims, and lots of other data. Doing diagnostics on cars has spoiled me in that regard. Joe

Power Commander PC-3 & Remus Exhaust setup

Have you made an attempt to correct that? I'm betting that if you just backed off the fuel at the RPM/TPS numbers you cruise at, it will eliminate that fault and not hurt your performance one bit. You could do it in small increments until it cleared up. I agree that you're not hurting...

    Riding in NY,VT,NH this week

If you're in the Catskills, I definitely recommend a run around Pepacton reservoir. I think it's the best motorcycle road in NY. Joe

vibration on front brake just before stopping

It may be a low speed ABS Activation. It's a common failure on cars. At low speeds the ABS Sensor signal is not strong enough for the computer to see it. It believes the wheel is locked up and activates the ABS to correct it. Fixing it requires making the signal stronger. Somtimes that can...
