    Has anyone tried this?

RTSR1/FJR, I tried this exact Ericsson earlier in the year but my Garmin (2820 Street Pilot) could never pick up both bluetooth devices (Blackberry & Ericsson) so I took it back. Maybe the Zumo can enable with more than one blutooth device. Sully

    Rhino Tires

I posted a snippet of this in response to Sawanny's "Got Nailed" post regarding a new product, Rhino Tire (Website) because I really don't want to have to change a tire again do to a puncture especially if it happens to be out in the middle of nowhere. I heard about this application from a...

    Enough Talk

DD, Congrats on your purchase. You my friend are in one great area of the country for riding an awesome bike like ours. I've been through your neck of the woods before - great riding. Enjoy.

    Yamaha Comfort Seat

I apologize if this has been posted before but I couldn't find it in a search. Does anyone ride with the Yamaha Comfort Seat Comfort Seat or hear of anyone riding with one? For the price compared to other aftermarket seats, it looks like a bargain. I like the looks of the Corbin Smuggler, but...

    Got NAILED!

Sorry to hear you got nailed. I have been thinking about getting my next set of tires through Rhino Tire. Has anyone seen this add? Check out the video: Rhino Tire Website Basically, you can just about order any tire through them with the additional Rhino application cost at a pretty...

    IndianaTom

Tom, I have not been much of a reader here lately and I missed this thread initially. I am so sorry to hear about your condition, but do not fret, this will be but a distant memory in the years to come. I will be praying for your full recovery, your family and what God has planned for you out...

one piece suit, yes or no

Feejer, I did not plan this at first, but I bought both the Phantom a while back and recently the Stealth. The funny thing is I still saved $ over one Stich. If I know it is going to rain I wear the Phantom. If it's cold - obvious. Hot - Stealth. If the day starts cool then I wear an old...

    Riding In So Cal

In June I am planning on flying to Las Vegas with my wife. She will be in conferences all day each day so my plan is to rent a BMW GT (I wish I could find an FJR for rent, but can't) for three days and try and find all the twisty riding I can in southern California. A couple years back I did...

    Possible NAFO Rides

Dave, Is it July yet? These are great - thanks for putting in the time. I look forward to potentially catching up with you on one or two of these rides.

    I did it!

Congrats. See you out on the open road.

    I'm in. Inaugural Ride

    emailing Garmin routes

I am not quite sure about the gpd format, but I have emailed myself files in gpx format in the past. As long as you have Mapsource loaded on the computer you're emailing to the gpx files will open in Mapsource.

    My early morning ride

I love riding early like that on a weekend morning, feels like your the only one left alive. In a town named Slaughter, this might just be true. Nice pics, thanks for sharing.

    Camping at NAFO?

Joe, Yes. My buddies and I are staying in one of the Yurts (see "Bear Creek Lake Park" tab on the left then drop down, "Camping Facilities" to check out the pics). Contact: Diane Godeaux (303) 697-6158 for reservations. She did tell me that there is only one Yurt currently but they would...

    Camping at NAFO?

Now we're talkin'. Living in Indiana has made it difficult trying to find just the right spot to camp. I have gotten mixed comments about staying at too high of an elevation (altitude sickness, cold at night, etc.), but this would be my first choice if I was making the trip solo. I had...

    NAFO ain't your daddy's WFO!

I am sure there are plenty of FJR owners coming that are not signed up/paid up but plan on catching up and kicking some tires in the parking lot with their fellow feejers. I am one of those guys but I am also bringing 3 other non-FJR buddies along for the unforgettable roads and comraderie. We...

    New ECU vs Power Commander

Thank you. Makes sense. And at the price of free - it is worth the recall rate. I definitely don't want anything to go wrong electronically at NAFO, especially when I have the opportunity to correct it before it even happens.. I just didn't want to mess up a good thing and with the decrease...

    New ECU vs Power Commander

Tech gurus, Ok, maybe a dumb question, but I just can't seem to find the answer. Since I have a Power Commander (O2 sensor disconnected) on my '06 set to the Wally Smoothness map, will this eliminte the need for a new ECU? My bike is set perfectly with great throttle respnse in every gear. I...

    Awesome Ride Report format

Pretty cool - thanks for sharing. It would be really cool if you could apply some descriptions to go along with the map/route (maybe windows similar to the pic windows). Either way - nice.
