Hey, I was all tied up into the bmw. I couldn't wait to get my k1200GT. I always had the fjr in the back of my head also. Then it came time to put up the money, I picked the fjr. The fjr is the best bargain out there. Who wants to pay 5k+ for a bike that is just considered slightly better...

:ph34r: I average 46mpg. I drive all hiway to and from work at a speed of 80 to 90 mph.

I love hid's, I have them on my Porsche. So I thought I would buy a set for my 2006. I read that you just have to plug and play, so I started to take things apart. I took the panels needed to be taken off for replacing the bulbs. There is no way I'm gonna get ballast and wiring into that...

I like the ff50's, but what about the mounts for the 2006 fjr? Are they available for the new types of mirrors? :unsure:

I'm looking for some auxillary lighting and I came across the PIAA 1100x kit. I know its not HID lighting. Are the lights worth the money and do they work ? I do a lot of night driving. :dribble:

:huh: THIS IS MY FIRST BIKE OVER 250LBS., SO WHAT IS THE TRICK FOR GETTING MY BIKE UP ON ITS CENTER STAND? I MUST BE A WHIMP, BECAUSE I CAN'T COME CLOSE TO GETTING IT TO GO UP. I MIGHT HAVE TO RESORT TO A FLOOR JACK. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY GOOD HINTS?

I do a lot of night driving on mostly 4 lanes. There are no street lights available and I worry about hitting debrie on the road, so I really need a light that I won't out drive. :bigeyes:
