    GPSUSPENSION.COM GROUP BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I could have gone that direction as well, however since the forks were going to be apart anyway, I opted to have GP install new rebound and compression kits, new springs, etc... Trust me, much better than the stock setup and well worth the cost. :P

    GPSUSPENSION.COM GROUP BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another bump for GP suspension - still offering GB price. :clapping: Last week while preparing bike for 3K ride to start this Saturday, noticed the seals had started to leak. Called Dave to see if he could rebuild forks for me in time. He said he was extremely busy, but ship the...

    Yes, I have YES...

Last January, after not receiving my YES card in the mail, I called Yamaha to verify whether I was registered or not. To my surprise they said I was not. I gathered my paperwork and went straight to the dealer. OK simple mistake, their paperwork got lost/misplaced in the shuffle. He made copies...

    lowered 7/8", what to expect?

I have been running with the Kouba links since purchasing my '07 AE last May with no issues, though as many others have stated, watch the clearance, both over speed bumps AND when riding spirited through the twisties. You WILL be dragging the footpegs much sooner that without the lowering links...

Recommend a good dealer in WA or ID?

I know it is a few miles further down here to Boise, but give Jimmy a call at Snake River Yamaha in Meridian to see what he can do for you. They had an shiney new Raven '08 on the floor last Saturday when I was in picking up some oil... So far I have no complaints about Snake River Yamaha.

    Got NAILED!

Would be definatly interested to see if anyone has tried this. For $50 extra and peace of mind may be worth it, though would not have helped in my situation with sidewall being punctured as it looks like only the tread area is protected.

    Factory spline lube on '08

Decided to pull the pumkin and check my slines on mine while I had the rear tire off replacing it due to nail (see other post). Splines were well lubricated though bike has only 600 miles. As other suggest, I am wondering if the lube Yammie is using breaks down and evaporates over time of being...

    Got NAILED!

Sorry to hear you got nailed too. Just got back from getting my new BT020R mounted. It's raining today, so wont be able to getting some "Scrubbing" done on it until tomorrow (hopefully)... If it wasn't for the nail going through the side wall, I would have just plugged it and road it until I...

    Got NAILED!

I would take that weather any day if my bike was able to run. Not too fun to ride in snow, but 35 degrees isn't that bad. On the old Shadow, I would ride with temps as low as 25 degrees. A bit cold on the hands, but now with the grip warmers on my FJR AE, I see myself being quite comfy riding...

    Got NAILED!

This thought crossed my mind and I asked dealer about it, but they wouldn't do it, so I figured I wouldn't chance it and wait until I get the new tire next week. Guess I can use the downtime this weekend to take care of the honey do list that has been accumulating...

    Got NAILED!

Somebody could be shooting at you. Chill dude. JW No disrespect, as I know things could literally be worse, but I was retorically speaking...

    Got NAILED!

So Tuesday evening on the way home I stop and pickup everything I need to complete my 600 mile oil change (engine and rear end), thinking that I can complete the oil changes and take a short spin, and then complete the TBS when my Morgan CarbTuner arrives next week. Complete the engine oil...

2007 FJR - How To Use The Center Stand

You guys are being too nice on a newbie, especially on a Friday... After a search of this forum (not hard to do), and following the direction some have already posted above, I was able to get mine up the first try (even with Kouba lowering links), though I cheated a bit and placed a 2X4 under...

    FJRF004: The 2006/7 Altitude Fix

Hi Olson, When I took delivery of my '07 yesterday, I specifically asked the service manager about the TSB for the Altitude sickness replacement ECU, (also new from this board that my bike fell with in the window of bikes needing the replacement). I know I will be riding at different altitudes...

    AE Walk Through.

I just picked up my '07 AE yesterday, so my exerience is limited, but all comments above are right on the money. The comment/instruction that helped me most was using the forefinger for both up shifting and down shifting. This avoids the horn button completely... Enjoy your new ride.
