I just bought an Arai RX-Q and it is the best fitting helmet I have ever had. I did replace the cheek pads with thinner ones. I also have a Shoei, it is great but the fit is not as good form me.

I lowered my '08 FJR using Kouba Links, also added a Corbin seat. My inseam is about 29" and now I don't have any problems. I also shortened the side stand and center stand. With 1" off the center stand it is very easy to use, much easier than it was when everything was stock. Good Luck!

Excellent choice! I went from a Goldwing to a VTX1800F and then to my '08 FJR. I have had MANY bikes over the years and the FJR is the finest one I have ever had and the most fun to ride. Enjoy!

I am in the market for a Corbin seat for my Gen II. Does anyone know if they ever have any kind of factory sale. Riding season in about over where I live so I am in no hurry. Also, of all the bikes I have had from cruisers to Goldwings I like my FJR by far the best! What a great ride.
