thats an awesome story, it's hard to go wrong with those 2 choices of rides. I've ridden the RT's a couple of times and much prefer the ride of the FJR.

I'm of the belief that a lot of dealers and really going to be hurting for business this winter and are going to willing to make some really good deals just to move some bikes, it just might be a few months Dec or Jan.

I'm in the market for a 06+ FJR, I'm wondering if its a wise thing to get the extended warranty if I go through a dealership? I've owned a number of other Yamaha's and never had one but I plan on putting a few miles on an FJR and want to protect my investment. Thanks for the input

R1 no question about it. The BMW is a good looking bike but the R1 is just to good to pass up. The combination of power, speed and styling it just doesnt get any better for the price. Now if a MV F4 was in the mix thats a different thing.. :lol:
