Manual says rebound factory adjustment is 12 clicks in from out. I adjusted mine one click in at a time and found the best ride and best control was 17 click out. 20w-50 is good, I found that out yesterday. As I posted two days ago that I can't find a dealer that sell yamalube 20w-40 for my 06 fjr is because yamaha recommend yamalube 20w-50 now. On there website it says that if your manual says use 20w-40 use 20w-50 insted. So I assume there is no more...

No I think they just don't have the the 20w-40.

Yamaha calls for 20w-40 oil. Since I can't find the 20w-40 I changed it with Yamalube 10w 40 as per the dealer say its ok on my 600 miles service on my 06. Now it feel shifting and cruising is rough. Has anyone done this and have the same sound. I only use OEM recommended parts and oil.

How about velcro remote on top of the clutch reservoir. My two bikes have velcro on top of clutch reservoir, one remote with two bottons to open gate(gated community) and garage, moving around on bikes and car. When I park out lock it in the glove box with the gloves. Just another idea. Works...
