My bike has developed a noise @ 3800 rpms that sounds like a playing card hitting bicycle spokes. I don't hear it any other time. Sound familiar to anyone? Wagman

Just changed the plugs @ 9K ... all 4 had perfect color. Thought I might mention the best gas milage I get is in the high 30s per gallon. Wagman

Yes my analysis is only being done by smell. My trips are 40+ miles. If a lot of peeps experience the same gas reek in their oil I guess I won't be too concerned. I just don't recall that smell in the oil of my last 2 bikes. Thanks Wagman

Tim nailed it. I've seen this in Michelin tires 100 times at least. Squish one and you'll see that it's not rubber.

If it is the waterpump leak you will smell antifreeze. Everything smthng said is spot on what my bike did and required for part replacement. I figured they ordered the extra parts for "just in case" scenarios and/or inflatable warranty billing. Wagman
