I changed the rear shock myself with a little help from my wife in about 1 hour. I had the fork springs installed by my dealer (removal of forks, drain oil, replaced the oil and gave me the old springs and remaining oil back) for $75.00 Well worth the time and money. igoforit

After thinking about it for a while, I'm gonna let the dealer do it for $75.00 and go on about my business. Putting the rear shock on was a snap, just ask my wife. igoforit

Hopefully this has a quick answer. Can the Wilber's fork springs be replace without removing the forks? In other words can you acces the springs by just removing the fork caps and pulling the springs from the top? Hopefully someone knows. igoforit

I don't understand why you have to "belong" to one or the other. Why can't you just post to either, and not knock the other. The other board has been around from the beginning and did a tremendous amount of good in help, research and infromation. Why not just use both for the benefit of FJR...

Great board, user friendly and hopefully as informative as the FJR1300 Owners Assoc. has been since the FJR1330 was brought to the states in 2003. I will use as many boards as I can for information and group rides, hope to see everyone at some time or another on the road. igoforit
