November 2007 FJR SuperBrace Group Buy

Just ordered mine & gave them your order number so you should see your shipping refunded. I've probably procrastinated myself out of the refunded shipping but just in case anyone is still on the fence my order number is: 1066. I'd appreciate it if you'd give SuperBrace my order number so I can...

    Anyone we know?

Yep! It's me. I had her all clean & shiny, then ran thru some road construction coupled with terrible fog on the way down to NC. The fog made the mud/gunk just sorta hang in the air & made my bike a nasty mess but I had such an unbelievable weekend on Hwy 28 (1st major ride with my new...

    Bikes with Ergo Seat pix

Thanks everyone for the pics & advice. I'm still uncertain about which seat I'll eventually end up with. The plan of the moment is to have a stock seat "refoamed" by Spencer's Motorcycle Seats (www.greatdaytoride.com) and see how that works out for me. That should give me the ride height I...

    New suspension on order

re: Turnaround time - Forks: They told me no more than 2-3 days in the shop, they're slow right now. Shock: 2-4 weeks. They're hoping for 2 but it could be longer. re: Nervous - I'm right there with you but could find NO negatives involving Traxxion. Gonna be on the cornbread & beans diet...

    New suspension on order

Remove the front calipers & suspend (I hung them from the mirrors with tie-wraps). Loosen the front axle pinch bolt, then the axle itself(don't know the allen wrench size - I used a bolt that fit with 2 nuts jammed together on the bolt's threads), jacked up the bike, loosened the 2 pinch bolts...

    Bikes with Ergo Seat pix

Exactly. I figured that's why I was seeing the better price. I initially said "No way" to the silver welt but then looked at the price and went "Hmmmmmm". Guess I need to learn to trust my gut instinct better.

    Bikes with Ergo Seat pix

Can't make up my mind - I really liked the seat height of the "standard" Corbin, I really like the front-to-back position of the Corbin "close", I ***REALLY*** like the looks of the "front & rear" Corbin seat but it has the lower seat height (same as the "close"). I found an excellent deal on a...

    Bikes with Ergo Seat pix

Anyone have pix handy of an '05 with the Yamaha ergo seat (or the Corbin with the silver welting) on it. I'm wondering how the seat/bike color combination looks. I prefer the black welting but got to wondering how the silver trimmed seat looks. I found a pic on Dale Walkers site but I'm...

    fork setting

:specool: Thanks for the info. That's how I set them up. It was late last night when I got finished, so I didn't get a chance to ride it and tinker with the suspension settings.
