Has the front break switch recall been done? That was the issue with mine the first time I replaced the switch on my own before the recall, and second time I replaced it with the new part number just before the recall came out.

2014 ES. T-Rex bars. Other than that a Givi top case, with extra lights on back ... I've had it since new. This was the latest picture .. working on doing the rear end service. It's been to the dealership once, after I got hit with a car door being thrown open just as I was passing it...

I have noticed some galvanic corrosion on mine basically the same place his has. 2014 ES ... The sad thing, mine were just replaced a year ago after an accident. Insurance replaced them because they were scratched all up.

Sellers want that "$5000 extras" in the asking price, but in reality, those parts, like farkes on the FJR, don't bring any more value the price of the bike. You can get more out of returning it to stock, and selling off the extras.

Isn't there a place on-line to look up or warrenty stuff straight from Yamaha?

Real easy to remove four large bolts and two small, lifts right off.

Does that show up well located down there? Is it angled up a bit? Getting parts together to install mine ... waiting on plugs to come in ... I'm making a quick disconnect harness to not to splice into existing wires.

Hillbilly1 I have to agree with you, went from "standard" motorcycle to sport bike to cruiser (H-D touring) and now to FJR ... why didn't I get one earlier???
