yes i was taking both sets of keys
We experienced a sap storm too. Glad it wasn’t before the sandstorm.Great suggestions. I just remembered one more thing, since I am leaving for a short U.P. ride in a week. Bring a bike cover. Parking under trees is sometimes unavoidable, and tree sap and/or pine tar is a real bitch to remove without resorting to a hammer and chisel.
Don’t take both sets of original keys, in fact you shouldn’t be running with at all with your original keys. Have several copies made and keep the originals locked up in a safe place at home. Keep them fresh.yes i was taking both sets of keys
Never had an issue with face burn wearing a full-face helmet. Just a bit on the back of my neck when wearing my mesh jacket and wrists with short mesh gloves....one thing I learned was sunscreen
My surprise on my first long trip was a bad sunburn in the little triangle spot by my thumb in my mesh gloves on each hand. It was like somebody burned me with a tiny iron.Never had an issue with face burn wearing a full-face helmet.
