Thanks! The secondary mirrors are attached to the OEM set.

And the stock mirrors look to be perched upon SW Motech mirror spacers. With that setup you have a good chance of seeing stuff in the mirrors besides your elbows.

Congrats! She's a beauty. I should have no problem recognizing that bike if I see you running around Puyallup, because I've never seen a mirror setup like that on an FJR. And that trunk is different also - it's not OEM or a Givi and has the Goldwing backrest arrangement that would make my wife jealous.

Actually the trunk is going on the shelf in the garage. I don't need the extra storage space at the moment. Could you point me toward the subframe support, however?

Here you go...If you plan on loading the trunk up, another option is the GIVI SR357 mount with an adapter plate for your trunk.

A closer examination of the trunk today revealed cracks in the bottom of the trunk. It isn't very well built so I won't be using this one. I guess it is worth the $58 on eBay.

If you're going to run a trunk, the GIVI SR357 mount / monokey trunk combo works well on the FJR. I've got a V46 Tech case on my beat up '09.

Lots of other options too...depends on what floats your boat.

08 AE stock has heated grips.

. Vista Cruise (Cruise Control) costs $20.00 and keeps you within a few miles of the set point and takes 30 minutes to install..

They have a pretty good deal on a 2008 AE at Tacoma Motorsports. $5500 also...about the same miles. If anyone is interested.
