Just got off of the phone with Cheryl and April at Kachina Lodge: Only 2 King Bed and 1 Two Queen Beds, smoking available rooms are left!
AJ, Richard and Michael booked their room with a King bed a month ago! We remember doing the Durango-Silverton train ride years ago and choose the open car for sake of looking over the edge for the awesome pics. The downside was it too was a coal fired locomotive and we ate soot most of the way, especially through the tunnels. I spotted 7 different rides on the Cumbres and Toltec website. Which one were you thinking of and would you be shooting for a group discount?
