Tim - Things are taking shape now - there may be a couple us departing Friday. UselessPickles and I are coordinating departure time now. We're both near Detroit. I am hoping to hit the road by 1 or so, and stopping at the Ironpony.com store in Columbus. Maybe you could catch us around there, or we'll see you in Caldwell.

Wayne
So looking ahead at head count and thinking about group size...

Wayne, should I count you and Annette in unless circumstances dictate otherwise?

How about you Useless Pickles? Are you and the wifey in?

I know nobody, including myself, is 100% guaranteed...I'm about 99% unless the man upstairs has other plans...but just looking at "likelyhoods" for this list anyways.

I'm trying to keep group sizes at 4-5 riders max...so it is a manageable group size...and fun for all...including the ride leaders...whoever they happen to be that morning.

That'd be me. I had an account on here from buying something a while back, so I figured I may as well post and put it to good use ;)

My plan is to be leaving Warren (MI) mid-afternoon on Friday and coming down to join you guys. I'll more than likely head home after Sunday's rides, as it doesn't currently look like I'll have enough vacation to take Monday off.

Excellent Nick. Look forward to riding with you and Tim. :clapping:

Good to meet you, Nick. We'll have to watch our schedules, looks like there's a good chance we'll be headed out of town about the same time Friday. I live in Chesterfield, but I work in Novi - so I'm planning on departing right from the office to save some time.

Put me down as 95% there for Saturday and part of Sunday's ride. It is one of my favourite areas.

Hopefully I'll ride with a faster than average group.

Good to meet you also, hopefully we can get our schedules to match up enough to get together for the ride down...shouldn't be an issue, it's only about 20 minutes for me to get to Novi as long as it's before traffic gets miserable on 696 :)

I still may try to make this. I would only be riding Saturday, though.
You obviously know how good the roads are around here. Hope you can make it.

Sounds like you're coming...I'm marking you and Annette IN.

I'm in the *more than likely* column...
Excellent Matt! :clapping:

Duly noted John. Putting you in a "hair on fire" group. :D

Looks like I'm in. Wife is still undecided.
Excellent...you won't be sorry. Hope your wife can come...she would have a great time riding these roads. Better than the flatlands of MI and IL anyday.

Yes I do. I will be riding on a brand new suspension too!

Well then, I definitely won't be able to keep up. :)

I've got 40k miles in these suspenders...and it is getting tough. Next year I get the nirvana of new parts...

55k on my stock suspension...I'll try and keep up
84K the bike, but maybe 12K on my used rear Wilburs and < 1K on recently serviced forks. Don't matter - I'm still slow.

We have reservations for Friday and Saturday. Hopefully life doesn't get in the way.

Negatory on that...I followed you on that freeway on ramp...you sandbagger. :D

That's great Andy! - putting you and wifey on the list. :clapping:

Hey Mark,

Is the saturday east loop the same one we rode last year?

The loops this year are not the same as last year...although they incorporate some of the same roads...they will also incorporate new roads as well. We may also be riding the same roads...but in a different direction.

555 is saved for the Sunday west loop towards the Hocking Hills region.

We are incorporating some new county roads that Denny has scouted already...see photo above somewhere in the thread.

The loops are still in the process of being put together. I am looking for any WV locals that know some good roads between US 250 and the Ohio river. The county roads I have seen look goaty in spots (which I personally have no issue with) and some people may not like surprise water crossing and bushwacking.

Some people! :D

Either way Bob...if you do make it, buy a beer for me...and I'll do likewise for you. :clapping:
