A light bulb just went off in my head while reading the SE Ohio home safe thread. Allen, you were very quiet while @ Applebees. You owe Kj a thank you for keeping your identity quiet.
"keeping my identity quiet"? How so? Was I trying to hide something? Surely you don't mean that I do not tent it anymore...I admit openly that I'm staying in a cabin with my wife! :)

Andy! A country unheard from. Of course there is room.
Thanks, Heidi. Looking forward to it. I'm actually in Maine right now on a solo trip. I'm off work indefinitely until a new contract comes up, so I hit the road. A little colder up here than I expected, but it's awesome. Trying to figure out where to go next, maybe Nova Scotia?

Hey KJ, You gonna ride that beemer down for this or you just want to trash up my thread? Do I have to give you the look again?
And, you haven't seen my tent. Not worried about rain or not being comfortable. There will be pictures.
I wish I could make this Bob, I believe it conflicts with Newfy-CFR otherwise I'm in!. And since I'm a switch hitter ;) , I just may show up on the Feej at the next meet to keep y'all guessing :)

YES!, I wanna see the tent... I'm in the market for one. Quick setup/tear down would be nice and bagged-up.... it's not all that lengthy.

I heard KJ is getting an official BMW tent to match his K1600...just wait to see it!

nope-err... I'm not married to any brand (nor woman for that matter). If/when the Gen4 comes out, I'll take a serious look see, if it trips my trigger I'll be back in the Yamahahopper camp.

Speaking of camp, I wanna see lots of tent city pics from this here event :) I expect everyone to behave accordingly, def no "Deliverance" stories.

I hate to do this as my last trip to BRMC with this group still ranks as my favorite, but it looks like I’m going to have to miss out

. I can only squeeze in one trip this spring and have the opportunity to go with some folks down to Eureka Springs, AR a week or so earlier. It’s quite a bit closer to home allowing nothing but twisties to and from with no slab. But most importantly it also lets me ride there and back with a couple of other riders which makes my wife infinitely more comfortable as this is my first trip since my get off last year. Only thing that could change me back to BRMC is if bad weather/storms are forecast for Eureka Springs trip.

Not sure how full they are but if there any potential cabin dwellers out there looking I have one reserved Th, F, and Sa nights. I’d rather have someone take it over versus cancelling but I have to cancel prior to May 18 I think to avoid full charges. Let me know if there is any interest, otherwise let the flaming begin.

What??? I guess you never told her about the couple times I saved your hide...

I'm trying to figure out why you're having issue. Doesn't Eureka Springs have cabins for rain events? Maybe you should be like Allen & look up Marriott.

Yes, I like Marriotts! Hiltons and Hyatts too! :)

You may look those places up in Cruso, also. If you don't find any, there will be a few of us sitting around a campfire that would be willing to take you in.

hiding something is definitely the impression that I was under. You do know that Bob (Intech) is coming to the camp meet with his wife, right? Guess where they're going to be? If you guessed in the "tent camping" area you would be correct. Using your wife as an excuse for not being teased will not be accepted.

I sure have, especially the one about good ol' Danny Taylor, our constable buddy.

It really came down to the 650 miles riding solo each way. Things would have not turned out so well if I had been riding by myself when I went down. That is still her biggest fear is an accident by myself in the middle of nowhere.

Just kidding Will ( I never told my wife about constable Danny Taylor). I totally get it, and understand.

Have a great time in AR, and take care.

I know it's just that you don't want to get pointed at and laughed at...

Andy, not sure if you're aware. There are a few of us hooking up to ride together & meet on Rte 58 in South Boston on Thursday. We plan to stay in Sparta, NC. A few of us have already rented rooms @ The Allegheny Inn. We're planning the fun way from there down to BRMC. on Friday. Talk to Bob abut hooking up Thursday morning if you're interested in joining.

What, you're staying in a hotel during the campout weekend!? ;-)

yes, on the way down. & I'm not even going to use my wife as an excuse to sleep in a hotel. Also, not my decision to stay there. But grasp onto that fact Allen. I'm thinking that you desperately need something to grasp onto.

yeah...it's just more convenient than setting up, just to tear it back down in the morning. And we still get a day of riding the fun roads down to Cruso. This is all about fun...not work.

Yep, I'll grasp onto my wife Friday and Saturday night. I admit that! You can't admit you are just hotel pu$$ies! :p

Just wait til I see you Friday and point my finger at all of you...then we all have fun riding!

Seriously, glad you are making the ride south again to see some old and new friends after doing so last weekend.
