You know for a butt-ugly color, that is one fine looking motorcycle. Congrats.

Amazing how early the 15's have been released! Haven't the previous years been released early in the model year?

West coasters received the 2014's about this time in November and us farther east got them around Thanksgiving.

Yep...That's a match...My new helmet may cost $15K
Back to front purchasing -- love it !
I did the same thing:

"You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community".

Same as I've used before and every other forum I belong to. You'll just have to take my word for it.

Photo assist: <thank you, sir!>
I am pleased that you got your '15, now I have to find out where mine is. Oh, and by the way, You Suck.
Mr. Redfish Hunter: Over the years, many people have told me I suck, and I am amazed at how that many people can all be so very wrong!

If it makes things better, my salesman buddy (we've known each other for at least four years) can get you an FJR here. I will personally volunteer to pick you up at the Atlanta airport and drive you to the Yamaha store. If necessary, you can bunk in my guest room. Be forewarned, there is no "Aunt Hud", so we'll be eating peanut butter and drinking beer, and I swear a lot.

The offer is serious; your contributions here are significant.

If the fly-and-ride doesn't work out, let's work out a ride-and-ride where I buzz down I-85/65/10 and meet you and Mr HPPants. February?

I have a $500 deposit with Friendly Yamaha/Honda of Baton Rouge and I would like to be able to buy the bike from them if possible. They are less than 15 minutes from my (wife's) house and I usually get decent service from them. I am also not in a huge hurry since I am working straight 12 hour nights for at least the entire month of November, probably longer. Each week I wait means a bigger down payment.

However... I am anxious to get this bike. And I appreciate the generous offer. By February my life might be back to a normal schedule and I know hppants is always up for a ride.

Westfield Powersports adds $498 for dealer fees usually.
No matter where you live [except CA], either model is a screaming deal if it's legit.

It's legit. I was just there Monday when they ordered their initial shipment of 2015's. And griff just bought their last'14ES for an amazing price!
Wow, that's an amazing price. Wish I was ready to purchase, I would snatch that 14A. $11,999.....are you kidding me? I've book marked the site for future use. By the way....GO COLTS!!!!

GO Colts! (My favorite team - just wanted to say that)

Congrats to all who are getting Xmas presents early. I am jealous to be sure.

R/H - my schedule is flexible enough. If you can't get there, make your deal, put insurance on the bike, and buy me a plane ticket. I'll do the fly-n-ride for ya. To sweeten the pot - I'll pay for the gas to get it home. My contribution for the extended test ride.

Regardless, Uncle Hud - you are always welcome here. I guarantee we will eat like Kings and I'll show you our favorite roads. We'll enjoy some wonderful curves - all 7 of them!

Salesman told me today that the bike will be on the showroom Tuesday. Tuesday. I will be working nights indefinitely. He promised me that it would not be sold to anyone else, my deposit is there.

Excellent!

That gives me plenty of time to climb all over it, scuff the side bags getting on it, and putting boogers all over it!

I don't get it. If you already put a deposit on the bike why would they put it on the showroom floor? Don't you already (essentially) own the bike? Just tell him, no, I don't want SkooterG boogering up my bike.

I just put a new PR3 on the back of the ST, I will be installing that tomorrow. I have to remove the GPS wiring and the SHAD mount, I will leave the other mods for whomever gets it. I may change the oil one last time.

I can promise you that I can lose a couple hours of sleep to go get my 2015 Liquid Graphite FJR ES. I may only have time to ride it back and forth to work, but I will at least have it.

I have no issues with them putting it on the sales floor. As long as it has a SOLD sign across the seat.

I think/hope that SkooterG is not close enough to Baton Rouge to do any meanness to my new bike. If he IS in the neighborhood and I find out he did not stop by... There will be some hurt feelings.
