Sorry for your loss. Hope you are able to replace the truck. I had a car that was damaged badly by hail once. Not a pretty situation.

All I had damaged during the tornado outbreak here in northern Illinois last Thursday was some missing roof shingles and some rain gutter damage on the house. The worst of the weather passed by a little north of me.

Sounds like a bad storm. You didn't see any witches riding past your window did ya?
Yes, but she lives here....

Greetings gents!

Petey promises to show me the secret handshake, and I'd love to join you for this. (going to try to make it happen)

... and since it's in my back yard...

I hope you can make this one, John. Would be great to add another HOON to attendance list

I'm in. I finally looked where this will be HQ'd and it is not that far for a morning ride on the 1st and hopefully do a valve check during the tech day. I will be there by 1pm and check out the 4th. Looking forward to seeing many of the usual suspects and meet more.

Do we have a room sharing thread? If not, anyone with a non-smoking bed available?

Are there any fun motorcycle routes for going from Bonne Terre to Lambert's Cafe in Sikeston for lunch?
I suppose you could take some squiggly roads and make a day of it, but isn't Sikeston in a less twisty part of Missouri? On google maps it sure looks that way.

I'm sure Smitty will make up a turn sheet or post a route for the day's ride...but I think he has always mentioned that if you want to ride somewhere else, yer welcome to that as well.

As far as the answer to your question, I think if you get google maps out, you might be able to work something out.

Count me in - I've got the time off and I think I'm gonna trailer in so I can get there Thursday.

Are there any non-smokers wanting to share a room?

FWIW-- I've had more than one person tell me in the last couple of years that Lambert's ain't what it used to be, and not for the better. Hope you have a good time.
