I'm in. I finally looked where this will be HQ'd and it is not that far for a morning ride on the 1st and hopefully do a valve check during the tech day. I will be there by 1pm and check out the 4th. Looking forward to seeing many of the usual suspects and meet more.

Do we have a room sharing thread? If not, anyone with a non-smoking bed available?
It will be a light work/tech day. A valve check would leave to many possibility of things going sideways. It will be simple things, tires, oil change's, TBS's. Stuff like that. Sorry Allen, but you are welcome to tear into the valve train yourself. I have all the tools you will need, but at your own risk..

No problem! Looking forward to this event.

Looks like a nice group coming together... It will be here before you know it..
Just have to pick a bike to ride....

KTM 690r enduro

KTM 450 exc

Suzuki 400 Supermoto (Skinny Dave's race bike) (Fun Choice)

BMW 800 gs (best choice)

Smitty
Well, I found a bike to ride in Oct. My BMW 800 is for sale, as I have not road it since the KTM 690 found its way to my house. I buddy of mine was going to trade this bike in at a local stealer. He let me steal it instead of the dealer.

2013 Yamaha Tenere with 30,000 miles, YES till 7-18 and $5000 worth of farkles....

Anyone have a room with an extra bed available? Looks like the one Tango had is gone now.

Smitty, when you update the attendance list, include me

Smitty, when you update the attendance list, include Uncle Hud, too, please. Made the decision after reassuring myself that the Hooterville Super 8 is not actually located down 2 miles of gravel road. (Google Maps has confused a similarly named address.)

Allen_C, you still looking for a room share? PM me.

Just requested required time off to attend my first Hooterville. You can add me to the list of attendees please. I will be also looking to share a room?!

This sounds like a great weekend. I'd like to attend but am not available. I was looking at the route map from a couple of years ago, the one that went to Bixby, then south to Doniphan then north to home base. I'm considering a ride in August that takes that route. However, I'd probably ride from KC to Farmington via highway 50, on day one, ride the route to Doniphan or thereabouts on day two. Day three would be the route back to Farmington and day four would be heading home.

What I'm wondering is that route from 2013, did it turn out to be pretty straightforward or were there parts of the plan that didn't work out due to road conditions? If you want I can take this off-line and send you a pm.

It is just south of Petticoat junction...

Or Bonne Terre, Mo.
Wheatie brought me up to speed on where you are. After riding across AR16 on my way home from EOM last fall I now know why you boys like that part of the world on two wheels. They have Supermoto written all over them.I googled up and it's just a click under 2,000 miles each way-damnit! The KTM is a great bike but not a long distance mule by any means.

I would really like to meet you Smitty but it may just be a pipe dream to get there this year. Who knows-never say never!
Do it Dougie! We'll meet south of Pixley and take the ol Cannonball over to the Junction.

I just got a call from petey. I definitely try to make it, but funds are tight. I did buy my winning 500m powerball ticket today though... that would surely guarantee my appearance.

Go Blue. I'll cover the room. I've never made it to one of these and I'm already blocking out that week from work-related crap.

Edit: Please add me to the list...

My plan is to blast out from upstate SC on Tuesday to Mtn View, AR or thereabouts. Ride an AR Loop Wednesday. Meander up to Bonne Terre on Thursday for the HOOTERVILLE festivities...ride home Sunday.

Man, I probably need a LAAM seat for all this riding, don't I?
