I'm coming back from seeing my daughter at JMU (Harrisonburg VA) this Sat and I'm tooling along a two lane road - nice arching curves - and looking for the T intersection to put me on Rt 17. Come off of a nice left hand curve at probably 60 - 65 and the road ahead looks funny, doesn't look like it continues. OH **** (yup, pretty sure I actually said that)...that huge red thing says STOP and there are cars whizzing by just on the other side. Well, as you can imagine I grabbed every braking device I could find and squeezed/tromped as hard as I could! Interesting, I did notice the ABS burping, farting, and jumping around, also noticed that there seemed to be two distinct "moments" to the bucking bronco - the quick pace I'm used to in a car, but then there seemed to be a longer pause between wackage also. I "assume" the front and back operate on distinct schedules. Bottom line I stopped in a dead straight line right where I needed to - glad I got the ABS.
